Victor ("we," "us," or "the Service") is a sports scheduling assistant operated at onvictor.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Victor, including the iOS app and website, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide and information created when you use the Service:

• Account information. Phone number (used to identify your account), first name, last name, and an optional profile photo.
• Event information. Events you create or join, including title, sport, time, location, capacity, invitations, RSVPs, and related messages.
• Lists and connections. Lists and connections you create in the app so you can invite people to events.
• Device contacts. If you grant contacts permission, Victor reads your address book on your device to help you find and invite people. We do not store your contact list.
• Communications records. Records that you consented to event texts, verification SMS, and similar service messages, including your phone number and the time of consent.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to operate Victor, including to:

• Create and authenticate your account
• Let you schedule events, invite people, and RSVP
• Show hosts and other participants who is in, out, or TBD
• Send one-time verification texts and, with your consent, event-related texts
• Send in-app and push notifications about events and RSVPs
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Service

3. Text Messages

Victor uses SMS in two ways:

• Verification texts. When you tap Send Verification Code, we send a one-time code to confirm your phone number.
• Event texts. When you tap Continue or I agree, you consent to receive event-related texts from Victor and hosts (invites, reminders, and similar RSVP messages). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help or STOP to cancel.

Stopping event texts does not automatically delete your account. You can still use the app and website after opting out of SMS.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run Victor:

• Other users. Hosts and invitees on an event can see names, RSVP status, and other details needed to organize that event.
• Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the Service, including Twilio (SMS and phone verification), Supabase (authentication and database), OneSignal (push notifications), and Cloudflare (website hosting). They process information on our behalf.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or security of Victor, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Data Retention

We keep account, event, and consent records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal information unless we must retain it (for example, to complete a transaction, resolve a dispute, or comply with law).

6. Your Choices

• You can update your name and profile photo in the app.
• You can text STOP to cancel event texts, or HELP for help.
• You can turn off push notifications in your device settings.
• You can revoke contacts access in your device settings. Victor will stop reading your address book, and we still will not store it.
• To request access, correction, or deletion of your account information, email [email protected].

7. Children's Privacy

Victor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
